When working with static sensitive components the need to remove insulative materials from the area is very important. Non ESD materials will hold a charge with the potential of discharging the voltage in the proximity of delicate components. Stationery items such as tape dispensers, document folders and wallets, clipboards, letter trays etc can be replaced with items that are manufactured from a carbon loaded polypropylene.
